Do I need to know about AI?

No. Each app walks you through setup in plain words.

Will an app speak for me?

Noted drafts in your voice, and you press send. Butler speaks only as Butler. Homegrown answers your customers from your own menu and rules, and asks you first until you let it reply on its own.

Are these separate apps?

Yes. Each has its own sign-up, so use only the one you need.
